With more than 550 published arrangements and compositions, Dr. Johnnie Vinson is an internationally recognized writer of music for band.  His exclusive publisher is the Hal Leonard Corporation, the world leader in the music print industry.

 

For much of his career, Dr. Vinson served on the band staff at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama,  retiring as Director of Bands and Professor of Music Emeritus.  Since his retirement from Auburn, he has devoted much of his time to writing music for band.  This website will allow you to explore his music.
